Press Releases
I wrote numerous press releases for the general press to publicize library programming and events.
Articles in the Desert Shamrock
The Desert Shamrock is a now shuttered local Phoenix paper. I wrote articles quarterly for the paper on behalf of the library for 2 years.
Articles picked up by other outlets
1916 Easter Rising lecture Spring 2016
Exhibit: Remembering the 1916 Easter Rising: Historical Context and Cultural Legacy
For the Library’s 1916 Easter Rising Exhibit, I researched, wrote, and edited content for the professional historical exhibit. I was responsible for all of the copy on my three boards as well as editing and reframing ideas when needed on other board areas. You can find more information on my work on this exhibit on the Exhibits page of this site.
Exhibit: Book of Kells
I coordinated the redesign of all panels, physical displays, and exhibit space of the Book of Kells exhibit at the McClelland Library. I researched and wrote panels as a two-person team, as well as rehoused our Rare Full Color Facsimile in order to preserve it properly. You can find more information on my work on this exhibit on the Exhibits page of this site. I also wrote a grant to fund the redesign of the panels and content as well as a archival quality case to house the facsimile for public view.
Exhibit: The Irish in Arizona
I developed the overall plan for, project managed, and wrote all but two boards of the in process Irish in AZ exhibit. In addition to the 9 boards I have written so far for this exhibit, I wrote 5 grants which funded 75% of the of the 11 boards that have been created. For the 2 board I did not write, I was the editor.
Exhibit: Irish Immigration to the United States
I developed the rough design and exhibit plan, in addition to handling the project management, and writing 2 of the 4 historical sections. The exhibit spanned the 1600’s – mid 20th Century. My research and writing portion was the 1600s and 1700s. In addition to the project itself, I also wrote the grant that secured the funding for this project which included removing book shelves in the hall of the second floor to convert into an exhibit.

Social Media
I developed written content across social media platforms for the McClelland Library as well as drafted scripts for fundraising Youtube commercials in conjunction with other staff.
Technical Writing
I developed and wrote the entire McClelland Library Policy Manual.
